#BrainPower

NeuroRestorative participates in national Brain Injury Awareness Month every March—a time to honor those impacted by brain injury and promote the need for prevention, access to care, research and advocacy.

According to the Brain Injury Association of America, an estimated 1.7 million children and adults in the United States sustain a traumatic brain injury (TBI), and another 795,000 individuals sustain an acquired brain injury (ABI) from non-traumatic causes annually.

Throughout the month, NeuroRestorative will be providing ideas for healthy brain activities on Facebook and Twitter. By spreading awareness about brain injury prevention, NeuroRestorative hopes to educate the public and honor individuals and families living with brain injury.

“NeuroRestorative recognizes and is proud to take part in Brain Injury Awareness Month by providing brain injury prevention tips to the public. It is important to spread awareness and education about brain injury and what individuals can do to prevent it,” said Bill Duffy, President, NeuroRestorative.
