Duc Tran, MD, Ph.D. Medical Director
Dr. Tran joined the faculty of Loma Linda University School of Medicine (LLUSM) in 2015 and is an integral part of the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. His many leadership roles within the department include: serving as research director, associate program director, and medical director of Traumatic Brain Injury Rehabilitation and the Advanced Neuro Recovery Center at LLU Medical Center.
Dr. Tran’s primary interest is in the treatment of patients who have suffered severe traumatic brain injury leading to disorders of consciousness. After completing his fellowship at Harvard Medical School, he became board certified in Brain Injury Medicine. During his fellowship, he became certified in biostatistics by Harvard University. Prior to fellowship, he served as a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation resident at Harvard Medical School. He earned his Ph.D. in molecular biology and his MD at Boston University School of Medicine.
