Lalita Perkins, M.D. Medical Director, Arkansas

Lalita Perkins M.D. is a psychiatrist board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She attended Arkansas Tech University and completed her medical training and psychiatric residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. During residency, Dr. Perkins had a strong interest in women’s mental health and the stress on the family unit. This has led to her interest in rural mental health, access to care, and children of families affected by mental illness. She has served at NeuroRestorative’s Arkansas program since 1998.

Dr. Perkins joined the NeuroRestorative Arkansas as the Medical Director of the psychiatric behavioral program serving children and as a consulting psychiatrist. She is a member of the Arkansas Psychiatric Society and the American Psychiatric Association. In addition, Dr. Perkins is an Adjunct Clinical assistant professor at NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine at Arkansas State University and enjoys mentoring students on their rotations. In her spare time, she volunteers at The 20th Century Club, serving and mentoring youth volunteers.
