We have programs in the following cities: Chicagoland Locations, Bloomington, and Carbondale

Our therapists create individualized service plans tailored to each person’s goals, encouraging personal interests like music and art, and fostering participation in educational, recreational, and community activities throughout rehabilitation.

Our Illinois program provides community-based and residential programs for adults, children and adolescents with brain and spinal cord injuries and other neurological conditions. Services range from rehabilitation and therapy to supported living, transitional living, day treatment, outpatient and respite services. All delivered by a specialized, transdisciplinary team focused on individualized, outcome-driven care.

Chicagoland Academy:

NeuroRestorative Chicagoland Academy, located in Mt. Prospect, Illinois, provides comprehensive educational and therapeutic services for students ages 14-21. Operating in alignment with the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) and local school district requirements, the academy specializes in supporting youth with various challenges, including:

  • Traumatic Brain Injury
  • Autism
  • Learning Disabilities
  • Emotional & Intellectual Disabilities
  • Multiple Disabilities
  • Speech and Language Impairments

The Academy offers a variety of specialized services tailored to each student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP), adjusting the intensity and duration based on ongoing assessments.

Most students at NeuroRestorative Academy reside in homes across Palatine, Des Plaines, Mt. Prospect, Arlington Heights, and Prospect Heights. These residential settings allow them to develop personal competencies such as meal preparation and hygiene, while practicing social skills in community spaces.

By living in these neighborhoods, students engage in a practical learning experience that connects academic knowledge with independent living. The residential aspect of NeuroRestorative Chicagoland Academy is essential for mastering these personal competencies alongside therapeutic interventions.

We empower individuals with neurological injuries to rebuild meaningful lives. Through tailored therapies and supports delivered in and outside of their homes and communities, we bridge the gap from inpatient care to full societal participation, fostering independence in daily living, engagement in social activities, and return to daily tasks, ensuring personalized goal achievement for every individual.

Our neurobehavioral support team provides personalized behavioral health services in homes, communities, schools, and program locations. We help individuals manage a wide range of challenges, including aggression, self-harm, impulsivity, social difficulties, daily life skills, grief, pain, medication, and offer individual and family counseling.

When distance does not allow for face-to-face visits, our HIPAA-compliant, interactive video-teleconferencing platform makes connecting individuals
with our care team easy and convenient. Our telehealth care delivery can ensure people access the supports and services they need to thrive. High-bred programs
that use some face-to-face and some telehealth sessions are available. Services may be provided in an individual’s first language for non-English speakers.
