Empowering Care: Stephanie’s Journey at NeuroRestorative

Stephanie Anderson

Stephanie Anderson joined NeuroRestorative in 2012 as an Occupational Therapist and quickly advanced to Therapy Manager, ultimately becoming the Regional Director of Rehabilitation for NV, CO, UT, and AZ. In addition to her leadership roles, she is a Certified Brain Injury Specialist (CBIS) Coordinator and Instructor, a Cultural Facilitator, and a member of the Institutional Review Board. Stephanie describes her work as solving puzzles, enjoying the flexibility, and the opportunity to learn from different departments. She values visiting the individuals we serve and hearing their inspiring stories.

After more than 13 years with the organization, Stephanie appreciates the positive work culture and strives to infuse fun into her role. As a cultural facilitator, she has hosted three culture labs, which have helped foster collaboration and enhance team dynamics. She believes that culture strongly influences engagement, communication, and overall effectiveness, aligning with the organization’s mission.

In her role as a Cultural Facilitator, Stephanie presents activities to various departments to help them understand their own working styles and those of their colleagues, ultimately finding the best ways to work together. This approach positively influences employee engagement, fosters a sense of belonging, enhances communication and collaboration, and promotes resilience, adaptability, and personal and professional growth, along with mental and emotional well-being.

The end goal is to motivate employees to perform at their best by recognizing and rewarding their contributions, instilling a sense of purpose in their work. We achieve this in various ways across the organization, including the Hero Award. “I look forward to continuing to embrace value-based decision-making to provide the best care possible for those we serve and our team members,” said Stephanie.
