Johnny Dennis Steps into Role as Director of Quality Improvement for TX

Johnny is a retired military officer with 26 years of loyal and faithful service and has 14 years of experience with post-acute brain injury care. Before his current role, he served as the Director of Nursing and Program Director for NeuroRestorative’s El Paso, TX, program. Johnny graduated from Austin Peay University with a BSN degree. After graduating, he attended the Army Critical Care Course and worked as an ER/Trauma nurse and ICU nurse. He has actively participated in multiple JACHO surveys and 3 CARF survey with successful outcomes.

Additional accomplishments/certifications include: Certified Brain Injury Specialist, Qualified Brain Injury Specialist, Therapeutic Options (Alternative to CPI) Mental Health First Aid, and the Spinal Cord course.

As QI Director, Johnny works with our many programs to ensure they are maintaining quality standards including policy performance, regularity and accreditation. He ensures the programs are complying with our company policies and that we are providing a safe environment for the individuals we serve, their families and our employees.
